Craigower - Pitlochry. I first went up Craigower with friends in 1952 after which I visited Pitlochry with friends or family in most years until last year - have not been so far this year. We have all spent many happy hours there - not always going up Craigower but viewing it from many points. My great grandchildren now love Pitlochry and visit most years when they come to Scotland from Sheffield and Lancaster with their parents and I am sure they will be handing on their love of this area to their children - the eldest of them is now 13 and the youngest 8. My introduction to the National Trust was as a child in Haslemere, Surry, where I knew Sir John Hunter's daughters and we were surrounded by NT areas such as Matley Common, Blackdown and Hindhead.
