Our membership of NTS is our way of saying “thank you” for the wonderful opportunities we have had to walk and climb hills, in Torridon in particular but also Glencoe, Kintail and other such beautiful areas protected by the Trust. These areas offer stunning scenery but also, and perhaps more importantly, the chance for peace, quiet and isolation in an often overcrowded and noisy world. We would like to think that such areas will always be there for the next generation to experience in this way.

I vote for the loom at Weaver's Cottage because it's such a tangible link to the past and the people who used to work on it. It's fascinating seeing it being used and fantastic that it's still productive.
