Threave Gardens and Training College. Unique! Greatly improved over the years - and will continue to give opportunities to do so. Galloway needs gardens of this quality.

I love the wild places, and my late husband and I particularly enjoyed visiting Torridon in Wester Ross. However, I am going to nominate Corrieshalloch Gorge. We came upon it quite by chance and the dramatic scenery and the falls made a huge impact on me. For sheer natural unspoilt beauty, it seems hard to beat.
