About Erskine

Erskine was founded in 1916 to provide care for sailors and soldiers returning from the conflict in World War One. As we embark on a new century of care,  Erskine continues to provide care to ex-Service men and women who require nursing, residential, respite, palliative or specialist dementia care.

Operating four purpose built care homes across Scotland, Erskine provides support to around 850 members of the ex-Service community and their families each year.

All Erskine residents benefit from exceptional services such as physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and recreation outings and activities, all of which greatly enhance their daily lives.

In all that we do, our main charitable mission remains to enable members of the ex-Service community to access the best care and support to achieve maximum quality of life. For as long as the demand exists, Erskine will continue to care.
