Celebration by: Kerry Kernan

Date added: 7 May 2019

This page is here to remember our lovely Dad (brother, brother-in-law, Uncle, Father-in-law, partner and Grandad!)

Looking back over these photo's it is easy to see the things that were important in Dad's life; friends and family, his love of travelling and seeing new things and the odd cream tea!!

Recent months have made us realise the importance of these things along with all the other lessons he taught us and values he instilled in us.  We hope that we made him proud whilst he was with us and will continue to do so for many years to come.  We also hope that we have ensured his legacy through acts such as this.  Dad would be proud to know he was supporting such a worthy cause and one that he supported himself.  He would also be greatly entertained by a Guide Dog puppy being called Derek in his memory!

Everyone was so kind and supportive when we lost Dad, and so generous in their donations that we wanted to say thank you.  Thank you for remembering Dad and honouring him in this way but also thank you for making a big difference to another persons life.

This page will be updated as and when we get to meet 'Derek' the puppy but in the meantime, thank you to everyone who supported this act of remembrance.
