NAN SANGSTER (nee Holmes)

Nan Sangster, (nee Homes), was born on 30th September 1945 in Dundee. The family lived in Blackness Road and Nan attended Blackness Road Primary School and Logie Secondary.

Nan met Alex one night at the Locarno Ballroom in Montrose and they were married in August 1970. Nan and Alex were very close and she found it hard when he died last year.

Nan was quiet, shy, private and had a good sense of humour. She was kind and loyal to close friends. She had quite a few interests and liked to sketch and read.

Nan and Alex were fond of their dogs and loved to go on holiday with them in their motor home, a favourite destination being Keswick in the Lake District.

Nan will be missed by all who knew her.
