Waterloo Soldier by: Oasis Academy Oldham

Date added: 12 May 2015

Private Isaac Hardy was born in Oldham in 1782. He fought at Waterloo in the 3rd Battalion Grenadier Guards in Lt. Colonel the Honourable J. H. Stanhope's Company. Unfortunately we were unable to find any further specific information regarding Private Hardy, therefore our Year 7 students researched the 3rd Battalion Grenadier Guards and their role at Waterloo. We looked at the objects that he might use and how he might use them and made powerpoints based on our research.
