Lcpl Ben Casey.

Where do we start ? Ben was a journeyman in the Royal Signals who lived for his diving, he was in demand from neighbouring units to dive with them constantly. He was regarded amongst the lads as a bit of a legend who gained his promotion 'eventually' in his latter years as a Soldier.

He spent a good chunk of his time in Detmold at 200 Signal Squadron where he was held in high esteem not only by the guys on the ground but also by the heirachy within the unit who never forgot him even when they reached the heights of Lt Col & Brigadiers.

Ben will be sadly missed by all that knew him or have ever met him, he would have given you his last penny if he felt you needed it more than him.

A gentleman, a brother, a comrade and a friend!

Take care buddy until we all regroup at the final RV.
