Brian and i were mates at goresbrook school. We had some great laughs together.I was shocked and saddened to hear of Brians death in the Dagenham Post the local paper in the 70s.Of all the friends i have made in my life he is the only one who lost his life through tragic circumstances and i get very emotional over that.I remember he lived in the banjo at the end of Comyns Road before he went into the army.I noticed the previous entry on this website was by Brians nephew also named Brian. Get in touch Brian would love to hear from you. Very best wishes, Peter Denham.

Myself and Gordon, his other remaining brother, attended his grave in Cyprus in May 2008 to pay our respects on the 50th anniversary of his death. We're proud of our brother & honoured that he has been awarded the Elizabeth Cross. Good on ya broth ! keep smiling
