I served under TAFFY from Edinburgh to Cyprus he was one of our troop bombardiers and he was without doubt the most approachable NCO in the battery,I still suffer from the shock of that night, that is why when I heard a memorial was to be dedicated to our lads I have to be there,on rememberance day I always put a cross on our memorial with the names of our four comrades,as the legion comemaration says they will never grow old.
any ex-members of the regt out there get in touch and we can swing the lead firstname.lastname@example.org love to hear from you

I have just stumbled across this page whilst trying to search for my mother’s brother Emlyn Wayne Francis who we have lost touch with for over 20 years, and to my surprise this page slapped me across the face.
This Emlyn Francis of Bedlinog is actually my Great uncle and my Grandfather Kenneth Francis brother (now also deceased).
It filled me with pride upon seeing this and I couldn’t wait to share it with my mam Kay who is Ken’s daughter.
I hope to visit his grave one day and thanks to this page I now know where he is resting. Thanks to those who have set this up and I would love to hear any tales anyone has of him.
