  • Happy memories of times together in White Rock. You fitted in so easily, Malcolm, to the Canadian CUSO group of friends. Bon voyage.

Living in Australia, we only met Mal the once but knew a great deal about him through correspondence. We were very impressed and liked Ponsonby very much for his easy going manner, friendliness, his willingness to take us around in his Jag and accept me and Don on the strength of my long standing friendship with Ruth. I found Mal incredibly modest when he told of his work, realizing behind his words, what a very important position he did hold and what amazing commitment, skill and dedication to his work he has given to keep people safe. Ruth and he were well matched in every aspect and exuded love and happiness together. Our sincere sympathy to Ruth and all the family at the loss of this wonderful man. Robyn Pugh
