Celebration by: Laughter Africa

Date added: 27 Mar 2018

Sadly on Sunday 26th November 2017, one of the street children called Josiah died. He was swimming in the wharf in Susan’s Bay and he was doing acrobatics under the water when he hit his head. He drowned. The street children came to tell us straight away and Amaa the head of Outreach rushed straight to the police to make sure that Josiah’s body was treated with respect and to make sure that his family were contacted. We never met him as he never came to Laughter but we, and the street children, still felt his loss. May he rest in peace.
