Date added: 24 Jun 2017

Abubakarr came to the ICC at the beginning of May 2017 and we reunified him with his mother at the beginning of June 2017.

This is what he wanted to say:

My name is Abubakarr and I am 17 years old. I have lived on the streets for more than 3 years. The reason why I live on the streets is because of my step daddy. He beats me and that’s why I go on the streets. On the streets I lived in Ecowas street. My jobs on the street include bloom and blye and cup cup.I support Liverpool. When I finish school, I want to be doctor.

From June 2017 until the November 2017, Abubakarr stayed home. We even paid school fees for him in September 2017. Sadly in November 2017, he returned to the streets. He attends mobile most days. As of the end of February 2018, he is still on the streets.

Abubakarr returned home in March 2018, just before the election. Since then he has actually remained at home. We paid vocational school for him in September 2018. However he never attended the school so we gave his place to another street child until he was more serious and committed. He has recently asked us to pay for a construction apprenticeship which we will be doing in the next few weeks as long as he is more committed and serious this time. As of February 2019, he is still at home.
