Remembered by: David Edwards

Date added: 19 Mar 2014

324986 Trevor John Edwards died aged 90, served from 1942 to 1945 in North Africa, India, Burma and Malaya. He was invalided out with polio and convalesced at Oswestry where he met his future wife, physiotherapist Jean Cecil Addison. He resumed his job with British Rail (WR) until 1980 when he took early retirement.
Although he won no military decorations, he gave a great deal in the disability he suffered and the cheerful fortitude with which he bore it.
