Westminster Abbey, through its visitors, memorials, monuments and graves, and its unique position as the 'Church of the Commonwealth', has links which touch almost every part of the globe.
When you donate within this online book, your country's flag will appear next to your name and message. We want to have as many countries as possible represented within the book, so if you were born or live in a country outside the UK, join our international challenge and see how many countries can be represented. Let us show our global support and good wishes for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and for The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Galleries by celebrating in this special way her 64 years on the throne.
Did you know that there are 52 countries across the world which form part of the modern day Commonwealth? From Antigua & Barbuda to Zambia, all are represented at the Abbey's annual Commonwealth Day service in March as well as participating at Evensong services throughout the year.
It is a 'family' of nations and peoples with a combined population of 2.2 billion. The countries are amongst the world's largest, smallest, richest and poorest, and they are bound together by shared values and principles. Her Majesty The Queen is the Head of the Commonwealth.
We hope to have all 52 Commonwealth countries represented.GALLERIES SUPPORTERS Previous
