Remembered by: Kirsty Cann

Date added: 19 May 2011

If you knew my Dad then you had the pleasure of knowing a remarkable person. He lived such an active and jam-packed 65 years and touched so many lives. Dad was always thinking of other people and had a gift for helping those in need. His sense of humour was often cringe-worthy and the funnier for it, we always called it "Dad humour"! A true gentleman who made many friends; school days, the band, in his long career in the RAF, later in Boston where he settled and others.

Dad's time was cut short very suddenly - he never did make a good patient. He is missed by all of us and there will always be a gap which he once filled.
