Remembered by: Malcolm Inman

Date added: 29 Sep 2011

Paul Allen Burford-Brown was born on 20th March 1934 in Richmond. He went to St Bartholomew’s Grammar School in Newbury where he joined the Air Cadets and won a scholorship to Cranwell. In 1953 he was "confirmed in appointment and regraded as a Pilot Officer". He went to Canada to train for Jets, unfortunately all did not go well and he was unable to continue flying.

But aircraft and flying remained his passion. In later years classic motorbikes became his passion too. He made lots of friends wherever he went.

He loved literature, music, cycling and photography.

He died riding his motorbike at the age of 77.

He will be deeply missed by many.
