Peter Dunton 23/09/1939 - 20/04/2013
Peter was a loving father, grandfather & husband.
He joined the RAF in 1959 and having qualified as a wireless technician, was posted to 6 Squadron and served in the RAF for 12yrs before leaving in 1971 and joining BAC at Warton, Lancs. His work career included Hunting Engineering working on the JP233 crater bomb used by the Tornado, working at DERA Farnborough on sea trials with Westland helicopters. He returned to BAE Systems at Warton to finish his working career on systems being used on the Typhoon.
Following his retirement he was an active member of 6Squadron Association and spent a number of years as editor of the association's magazine, "The Tin Opener". Additionally he was the representative for a Lancashire Superleague team for ten years, firstly as Lytham Town & latterly as Preston Superleague Team.
He will be missed by all his friends and family.
