One of my fondest memories of Granny and Grandpa Rob is during my first year of university when I went to stay with them. Upon my arrival I soon discovered I had left my electric shaver behind. Upon Granny's instruction Grandpa quickly issued me with a razor blade, new to the prospect of wet shaving my face soon became a picture from a chain saw massacre, much to Granny's shear shock and horror but as the day went on this was something that we were able to have a good laugh about.

Dear Anne, You have been a wonderful friend, always there to listen, suppost and advise, how I will miss our chats over coffee or out for a girlie lunch. You really have been an inspiration to us all, you have had so many health problems to have to deal with over the years and you've always been so positive and full of determination and grit to overcome what ever came your way. Another lovely memory was when you came to visit us in the Philippines. One trip we did was to the American World War II cementry in Manila and you wrote down the words on one of the grave stones that you thought so moving. I shall miss you so very much but hope I have learned by your example, you have been a wonderful friend.
